HELP! The kiddos will be 14 months apart and DS is starting to walk now. We were thinking we stick with our jogger and get an umbrella stroller. What do you ladies think or what did you do? They make our stroller in a double but Im just not sure!

Re: to double stroller or not to double stroller?
This was us, too, although mine were 19-1/2 months apart and will be 18 months apart this time.
Do you work full time? If you're never alone to do errands/go places with both kids alone, I suppose you could get by with 2 separate strollers. Otherwise, I'd get a double.
My double strollers seriously save my sanity. My BOB allows me to take long walks and go on runs. My BJCS lets me take them into places where a normal side-by-side wouldn't fit.
I seriously cannot fathom how active women who are out and about alone do it without a double stroller. Granted, my husband is deployed, but even if he was home I don't know how I could safely do zoo or aquarium or mall trips without my double stroller. My 2 year old will walk (and we sometimes use a single stroller or ergo on short trips) but if it is going to be an outing with lots of walking or for several hours in a row the double is 100% necessary.
I still say that this board needs a double stroller sticky. Should I email the bump gods?

No more TTC for us. We are done, and at peace, as a family of 4.

I plan on getting a double stroller to keep at home for jogging/walks and to use when traveling/going to the zoo or other places like that.
I am going to moby this kid for the first couple of months, like I did with my first. Then, we'll get a double stroller for the car.
BFP with no treatment!
I'm new at this 2u2 thing, but I have managed without a double for now. My DH is home 4 days/week, so when we go out, we have DD#1 in her Maclaren stroller, DD#2 in her travel system, or sometimes DD#2 in the Moby and DD#1 in the stroller, or DD#1 walking attached to her monkey harness, and DD#2 either in the stroller or Moby.
Summer is almost over, so that means that trips to the zoo and other places are going to decrease. Hopefully, next spring/summer we can just get a wagon and use that for trips like that and DD#1 can walk when we go to the mall.
