Cautiously Dipping My Toes...(Intro)

Hello ladies! I completed my first IVF a couple of weeks ago and got a positive HPT at 10dp5dt this past Friday (and every subsequent day after that). 

My beta isn't scheduled until Thursday, and I've been wanting to wait until I get that before I introduced myself over here,  but after 4 straight days of positive HPTs, I'm starting to feel pretty good about my result this coming Thursday.

Am I crazy for wanting to test with a HPT every day until the beta? Probably, but I just can't get enough of actually seeing those 2 lines pop up! Smile

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

IVF w/ICSI #1 2011

    Welcome!  I tested everyday until my beta as well.  I felt the same way about seeing the two lines pop up.
    me:33 yrs. old, DH: 27 yrs. old

    Congratulations!!  I still test every couple of days ;). 
    Stopped BCPs December 2008 TTC since June 2009 6 unsuccessful Clomid cycles Dx Annovulatory due to PCOS January 2010 DH-perfect 4 unsuccessful IUIs Began Lupron July 7 for first IVF IVF cancelled; overstimulation and coasting lead to huge drop in E2 New testing with an Endocrinologist...perhaps a new diagnosis... So, not PCOS but Hashimoto's Thyroiditis November 2010 After a looong break, started seeing a new RE. Gearing up for IVF 1.2. Beta 1=197!! BabyFruit Ticker image

    Congrats, you are not crazy. I have had two betas already and still poas yesterday :) I just wanted to be reassured!!

    congrats and welcome! I didn't test everyday but I did take a few random tests after my beta ;)
    Dx Anovulatory PCOS Clomid,Ovidrel,TI=BFN IUI#1-#3 Femara,Ovidrel=BFN IUI#4-Gonal F,Ovidrel=BFN IUI#5-Gonal F,Ovidrel= BFP!!     Congratulations!  We all do it :-)  I am actually just about to give my stash of leftover OPKs and pregnancy tests to a friend, and I'm thinking of POAS before I do, just for fun ;-)

    Congrats & Welcome!  I got my first bfp at 10dpo and didn't have my beta until 13dpo, so I tested every day until beta!  Just too fun to see those two lines pop up and I was so anal about comparing the darkness of each one to the previous one.  I tested twice a day, once in the AM and once in the PM, just to see them get darker!
