Re: New Year's In Boston with kids?
First- your kids are breathtakingly beautiful.
So, New Years in Boston is super family friendly. There is an event called First Night which is really geared towards families...there is food, music, events, art... and I believe (but I'm not certain) that the night ends with fireworks. If you guys are staying in Boston at a hotel, it would be great.

First Night is very family friendly. There are different events thoughout the city all day long...music, arts and crafts, puppet shows. There is a parade, usually about 7pm, followed by "family" fireworks. (there's another set of fireworks at midnight). You can check out the website firstnight.org and as it gets closer there will be listings of all the events. You buy buttons for $10, I think, that will get you into all the events and I'm pretty sure the kids are free.
Other places to check out are the Aquarium, Children's Museum, Science Museaum, Fanuiel Hall Marketplace.
Hope you enjoy our city!
