It's kind of slowed down around here. I don't know if it's just because we are all getting pretty used to the idea of being pregnant so everyone has fewer questions now, but I personally would like to see more chit chat about general topics rather than just pregnancy. I'd love to get to know more people on this board.
I told my boss and my co-workers that I'm pregnant, and now it feels as if all anyone wants to talk to me about is my pregnancy! Sometimes it's nice to get a little break. So... cooking threads, baking threads, crafting threads, gaming threads, animal threads, clothing threads, music threads, hobby threads, TV threads, celeb gossip threads, current event threads, science news threads..... what ya got?
Re: More OT topic posts, please?
On a non baby topic, I'm on my way to my part time job at Borders and I'm dreading it. My beautiful store has been destroyed my jackals. :-( My mom and boyfriend both think I should quit because it's exhausting these days, but I just want to see it through until we close for good.
I *really* love Pinterest!
Ha ha ha... I've been on FB for way to long... I was looking for the ?Like" button when I read this!
DITTO...
I'd be happy to see any or all of these things as well... You've got my wheels turning now...
I'll be posting something in a few... Perhaps a "recipe of the day" or "I'd really like to try to make this"....
Thanks for getting this ball rolling!
The grocery store I had worked at for 10 years closed in 2009. Those were a crazy few weeks as everything in the store was discounted from 20%-75% and people were clearing the shelves and filling up 2 heaping carts apiece. I was SO glad I was a pharmacy tech and not one of the cashiers that had to ring up and pack those huge orders, but it was so surreal to watch that happening to the place I'd worked at since my high school days. On the plus side, sticking it out til the bitter end meant I would at least qualify for unemployment, since Giant Eagle (or Giant Devil as I like to call them) refused to hire any of us when they reopened the store.
And this is why I love you Cho!
I will try to think of some things to start threads on when I am at work, not working
