But what formula did you use after Neosure (or other high-cal formula)?
I am thinking it's time to switch (for Blake)..... I am going to talk to the ped first but I am curious.
If it makes a difference he is spitting up more then "normal" and has been extremely gassy, to the point that he is miserable.

Re: Ok I know this has been asked before...
When we are done with neosure, we will just do a couple bottles a day of generic (probably kirkland brand). They have to follow the same stringent FDA standards, so generic is fine IMO.
I want to extend my breast milk freezer stash as long as possible. I figure he'll be fine with generic because he is fine with neosure (which is harder on tummies than regular formula). If he was super gassy, I'd probably try Enfamil Gentlease (which is made for gassy babies).
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

We used Enfacare to start with. He did better on the ready to feed than the powder (made him very gassy, but pedi wanted to keep him on the higher calorie formual for a bit longer). We then switched over to Gentlease, but DS couldn't keep it down. After that we switched to Similac Soy and he's been doing great on it ever since.
And for what it's worth, I like the Similac packaging way better than Enfamil.
Good luck and I hope the little guy feels better soon.
