Baby wearing fail...

So DH and I went to a neighboring (much larger) town tonight to use a 15% off coupon to Kohl's to buy my Baby Bullet!  Will is starting to HATE riding in the carseat when it's hooked into the travel system, so I took our Baby Bjorn to carry him through the store.  I carried him facing me cause he was tired and snuggly.  He loved it and was great though the store.  As we're getting ready to check out I thought "Boy this thing is WARM, I'm all sweaty!"   Nope, guess again...Will had leaked out his diaper and ALL over the front of my shirt!  I'm guessing the carrier made his diaper shift because he normally never leaks (we cloth diaper).  So the front of my shirt is all wet and of course I have a change of clothes for Will but not for me.  I so just wore him though the other stores we went to instead of trading off with DH, at least he covered up the wet spot!

Same exact thing happened to me yesterday; cloth diaper, must have shifted, shirt SOAKED.  Of course, we were at a store 45 minutes from home, and had to wait for 15 minutes to pick up the thing we'd bought, so I was in the pee shirt for over an hour. So gross!

Glad to hear I'm not alone!  Guess I'll be bringing a change of clothes for me if I plan on wearing him when we're out of town again!

I was standing on my front porch holding LO - she was in a snappi'd prefold and wool shorties.  All of a sudden I felt a drop or two on my foot.  Couldn't be rain, I thought - I'm on a covered porch.  I looked down, yup - LO was peeing straight out of the diaper, my guess is because of the way I was holding her under her bottom.  The best part?  LO had the BIGGEST grin on her face.  It's like she knew!  LOL.

A similar thing happened to me when I was carrying him in the airport.    It wasn't poop, instead it was my boobs that leaked all down the front of my shirt.  I was by myself and of course I didn't think to bring an extra shirt. Luckily it was a dark colored shirt so it didn't show as bad.  It must have been the fact that he was close to me for so long, my boobs went into overdrive.

This makes me giggle! Last night I was rocking DD to sleep when I noticed the insert in her night dipe was bunched a little.. it was driving me NUTS so I pulled it off to fix it while she sat up in my lap. It was off for about 20 seconds and she peed all over the crotch of my pants. I was so glad I was home!
