I just caught up on M's EI post. First:
HUGS! It's so overwhelming to hear, huh?
Second- you are doing the RIGHT thing by having her eluated and seaking services. As an EI Mum, myself, I know how hard it is to hear that you precious one is't *perfect*. I cried a lot then I educated myself on what they were talking about (with O it is Apraxia) and some would say over educated but you have to be her advocate and push what is right for her to ahve all the best possible oppertunities.
Ask a LOT of questions and if something doesn't sem right to you ask for a second opinion!
GL and HUGS again!
Re: ~* Kris of KrisBriMcBunny*~ :o)
you nailed exactly how I feel....she's not perfect. Yes I know no one is perfect but we all like to think our kids are perfect.
I'm already ordering some books that the developmental pedi's nurse suggest to us. So far everything they are telling us sounds right and makes alot of sense.
Thanks,
Kristie
Awesome!
If you need to vent or need advice just give me a holler!
Hugs!!!! and hugs to M too!
