Hmmm.....something different-am I just psyching myself for disappointment

Ok, today is CD 24 for me.  This morning, I noticed a very small amt of spotting-with no clots.  I went back upstairs to grab what I needed in case AF starts while I'm at work.  Seems a little early, as I'm pretty faithfully a 28 or 29 day cycle.  Usually I notice clots, then AF starts full fledged within a couple hours.  No more bleeding the rest of the day today.  I started DHEA a couple months ago, and I have read that it can make your cycle longer.  I started accupuncure this month.  I do not temp and chart-and we're not cycling so I really haven't been paying too much attention this month.  But, could this be implantation bleeding?  If AF doesn't show soon, when would be a good time to POAS.  I want to keep the faith, but I also don't want my body to keep secrets and I want to know the real deal ASAP.  TIA for any thoughts.
TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    I have no idea if it is or not, but it sounds like it could be. Honestly, I'd have already POAS. I'm CD 17 (6 dpo) and I'm chompin' at the bit to POAS, so... Good luck!

    Everything is possible until AF rears her ugly head!

    If I had that experience, I'd be hopeful.

    Do you know when you ovulate? That's more important than when you expect AF. 12 days after ovulation (13 or 14 days after a positive OPK) is the earliest I'd expect an unambiguous test (and even that might be early.)
