At what age for 2-wheeled bikes?

For those of you with older kids a ?  At what age did your kids start riding 2-wheeled bikes (with training wheels or without)?

DS was 5, but he had no interest prior to that.  We did training wheels at 4.

Training wheels at 4 and I think he finally got the hang of it at 6?

DS just turned 5 and is using training wheels.  I see him maybe losing the training wheels next summer He started using a bike with training wheels at age 4.

We started when my son was 3 (with training wheels), and he just didn't get the hang of pedaling.  He got a new bike with training wheels for his 4th birthday last month and is doing much better (and is more interested).

DS is 3.5 and has been riding his training wheel bike all summer.  But he sucks at steering.....and thinks he has to go full speed ahead.  AHHHH!!!!

The triplets started riding a two-wheeled bike with training wheels this summer at 3.5 years.  It took a few weeks, but they got the hang of it pretty quickly.

For Allie, we decided to go the two-wheeled balance bike route (Strider Bike).  We bought it for her last Christmas, just after she turned 2.  She took to it right away and rides all around the neighborhood on that thing.  I'm sure she could easily ride a two-wheeler without training wheels at this point, but her legs are so short she can't reach the pedals very well.  Looks like it will be another year or so on the balance bike before we take the plunge to the regular two-wheeler.

We got him a very small one with training wheels when he was about 4. The training wheels came off when he was about 4 and a half.
