Credit Card?

Anyone use a cc to pay the agency and/or attorney for your adoption? The interest rates are so much better than a personal loan and/or line of credit. Do agencies do this? Anyone apply for the National Adoption Visa?

    We used our credit card in order to get miles, but sent the cash payment immediately.... Did not even wait for the statement to arrive.

    I was hoping to use my cc for my lawyer but she wanted a check for the initial fee.  I would have liked the cash back rewards but at least it is paid for now.

    We used ours to get the rewards and then transferred the money over to pay it off the next day.

    Our agency would not allow it (maybe they do now) but their reasoning at the time was that they didn't want us, as new parents, racking up debt that we may not have been able to afford. Thus, they wanted to see that we had the cost of the adoption in our savings up front. A sign of stability. 

    I wish they would have though - we pay everything with our card each month (and then pay it off each month) for hotel and flight rewards.
