Adele?

What does everyone think of the name Adele? I am totally in love with it! My husband likes it but I am not sure he is 100% for it like I am. We are going to start TTC for baby #2 in January so I am just trying to get a headstart on possible names. Thanks ladies

I like Adele, but all "Addie" names are starting to feel a little tired. I think I would like it if you insisted on calling her Adele at all times.

And I think it goes well with Willow.

I like Adele. I also think it pairs well with Willow.

I don't automatically think of the singer; I'm more reminded of the little girl from Jane Eyre.

I have a good friend named Adele and she's NEVER gone by Addie. Occasionally Delly, but mostly just Adele.

Adele was on our short list of girl names if this baby had been a girl. Then Adele the singer happened and luckily we didn't have to make a decision about whether it would become too trendy or popular because of her.

Love it! I had the sweetest neighbor named Adele when I was growing up. She was like the neighborhood's grandmother. I smile whenever I hear the name.

I'm so shocked that people love this name. I find it super clunky and unfeminine. I just really hate the -del sound, it's so harsh! I love Willow though.
