Triple cream vs Triple paste

I have heard so many good things about triple paste that we thought that is what we should buy to keep in our diaper bag. Well when we were shopping, I wasn't paying attention and bought triple cream. I already threw away the box before I realized it. So I am wondering, can I still use cream as a diaper rash ointment, or should I go and buy the paste and save the cream for other things?

Re: Triple cream vs Triple paste

  • Isnt the triple cream for eczema?  I would probably get the triple paste and not use the cream on diaper rash if that is the case.

Doesn't it say on the back of the container what the uses are?

  • Eczma and dry skin is what the tube says. I'll just go buy more, this time the right stuff :)

  • I'm pretty sure you should use the PASTE on a rash. The cream is more preventative, I think. We LOVE the paste. It's $$$, but I am loyal because it works so well. My doc recommended it after a bad rash. My vote is to just spend the $ and get the biggest tub. It lasts forever and you get more out of the container than in the tube.

  • I love triple paste!  i just bought a big tub of it from drugstore.com and sayed (using a code from retailmenot.com) because it was my first time there. If you buy it in the store, there is usually a dollar off coupon in the box...

I used desatin original for minor diaper rash, and triple paste when the desatin just wasn't cutting it.  It works overnight!!
