What are some of your favorite things to make? I love making fun flavored cupcakes. For Christmas I always make two staples: Monster cookies that have oatmeal, choc chips, and m&ms in them and some almond drop cookies. My SIL requests her Monster cookies months in advance bc she loves them so much. She gets her own large tin now, lol.

What's the last thing you baked (I know for a lot of us we don't turn the oven on in the summer but still...)? I am making Cherry Limeade Cupcakes today!!! I can't wait to try one.

Is there one thing that you keep trying to make over and over again but you can't quite get it right? For some reason I can't bake the frozen store bought cookie dough quite right. They are either too mushy or rocks. When I make cookies from scratch I never have this problem.

Do you have a stand mixer? Sure do! Back in August '07 there was the great "Lowes Kitchen Aid-Gate" on the nest. Lowe's misprinted their flyer to have them on sale for $120 instead of $220...and they honored it AND there was a $30 mail in rebate!!! I tracked one down in the Chicagoland area and was able to even get a red one. $90 for it! That was the score of the century for me, lol.

Cookies. I'm baking "blue" berry muffins tonight for our tailgate tomorrow.

Is there one thing that you keep trying to make over and over again but you can't quite get it right? Probably my mom's homemade rolls recipe.  It never comes out the same every time I do it.

Do you like to bake?  Yes, absolutely.  I love to bake more than I like to cook.

Do you have a stand mixer? Yes, I love it!!  I got it with wedding gift cards.  I don't know why I never broke down and bought one before when I was single... it would have been worth it.

Do you like to bake?  Occasionally, mostly around Passover.

What are some of your favorite things to make?  Meringue cookies and macaroons for Passover, biscotti the rest of the year

What's the last thing you baked (I know for a lot of us we don't turn the oven on in the summer but still...)?  It's been over 100 degrees continually since June, so no baking.  I think the last thing I made was a lemon pound cake some time in May.

I can not get my brownies to bake just right!  They always taste good, but I can't get the doneness just right! It drives me nutso!

Is there one thing that you keep trying to make over and over again but you can't quite get it right?  For the longest time I tried to make the perfect cheesecake.  No cracks and no flopping in the middle. I tried water baths, shutting off the oven and letting the cake cool slowly in the oven, different recipes, nothing worked.  The last two times  I used  Ina Garten's raspberry cheesecake recipe and it came out perfect both times.

Do you have a stand mixer? Yes, I received a kitchenaid mixer from my Mom for a shower gift.
