New to The Bump
Relatively New Here
I've been lurking around for a few weeks, posting here and there... But I'm having trouble connecting with anyone here. I feel isolated where I am. Everyone I know has already had their babies long before I got pregnant, so I've got no bump-buddies where I am.
Are there any other women in Kelowna, BC, first-timers or even pregnant again? Anyone in the Okanagan at all?
My sister is a doula, and she has to boys of her own, so I talk to her often about how things are going, how I'm feeling, all that, but it would be nice to have a buddy to go through this with!

I'm not seeing the local boards anywhere in the list, and I've gone all the way to the bottom!
Yeah, I'm one of the last of my friends to have a baby. I did actually have a really good conversation with one friend today, though. She called me out of the blue, which was really nice, and we had a good talk full of epiphanies about why friends lose touch when one of them has a baby... although I can't remember the details off the top of my head! Baby brain!
