Should I take my stroller to the fair?

DS is 14 months and not really walking. We went last year but we went during the week. I'm worried my stroller will be more of a hindrance getting through crowds than a help. Should I just take my ergo? It would be really nice to have the stroller though!

Opinions?

  • I am bringing my stroller. It's nice to also be able to store stuff in the basket. We brought ours last year and didn't have too many issues.

  • I'm bringing mine. I like having the cup holders and the storage basket.  Also, I wouldn't want to carry DD around all day.

  • We took the stroller. I went for the jogging one so it was easier to go up the curb/around people if needed. But I think our other one would have been fine too. I wanted a diaper bag for pants changes and also packed DD's lunch in there.

  • We took our double stroller and had no issues.  I just like not having to carry the diaper bag, sippy cups, ect.

  • Yes. Definitely. You can get around easy enough and it's a place to store stuff and DS took a nap in it. We had the big old double stroller because even my almost 3 yr old rode quite a bit.

  • We've been out there twice (well I've been there more like 10 times), and the two times we've had the stroller, I like having the storage underneath for diapers and wipes, and other crap, plus the cup holders.  I wanted to take advantage of the stroller this year because I don't think we'll have it next year...DS is getting to the "I want to be out wandering" phase.
  • Yes - the stroller worked great for us.

  • We went last Saturday and it was really busy and we had our stroller. Having storage space and cup holders definitely outweighs the negative of having to maneuver around people. The only time it was hard was when you wanted to see something and there was a bunch of people in front of it. It was hard to get the stroller close. But I would definitely still bring the stroller.
