Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller - is it a jogger or stroller?

Does anyone have this model?  Does it function more as a stroller or a jogger?  What do you like about it?  I'd like a double jogger for my daily walks but want to keep a separate stroller in the car so I don't have to put it in and take out every time we go out, I know there won't be time for that!!

  • I have the Summit, which is their low end true jogger.  I think the city mini is more just a nice stroller.  I don't think people jog with it.  It's great for walks though.

  • It's not a jogging stroller. You "can" jog with it, but it's intended use is a more "all-terrain" stroller........

If you're just walking with it, it's great. If you're actually going to be true jogging or running, I'd go with a jogging stroller......

  • I have a BJCM. It's a stroller, not a jogger. It's great for long walks though. I don't jog, so I can't comment there. It's VERY easy to get in and out of the car- that's one of the things I really love about it. I also love how easy it is to maneuver- even with very unbalanced weight (DS was already 33lbs when DD was a newborn). I also love the sun shade- they provide more coverage than any other stroller I've ever seen.

I agree with this (though I don't have the unbalanced weight). I LOVE the quick and easy fold, the amazing sun shades (they are what kept drawing me back to it), option to fully recline, and it steers like a dream. But yeah, it's definitely not for jogging. It does great on smooth surfaces and so-so on slightly bumpy surfaces.
