We went for an elective gender u/s at 17 weeks & they were great! Everyone was friendly & the office was comfortable. We didn't want to find out the gender there b/c we were planning on finding out w/ our families so they were awesome about keeping the gender a secret & still showing us the baby. They sealed up the results in an envelope for us to take w/ us & even called the bakery to tell them if there should be pink of blue icing. We're planning on going back for the 3D u/s.
We just went there a few days ago for a gender check and couldn't have been more pleased with them. The guy doing the u/s was super nice and so thorough. We're having twins and prior to this we had three different ultrasounds for various reasons within about 3 weeks of each other and no one even tried to tell us the sex of the babies. He was able to find them with no problem whatsoever, and even showed us a few different views to confirm that one was a boy and the other was a girl. They also fit us in after hours which was not something I actually expected them to do, but they did. If we decided to go for a 3D u/s we're definitely going back here!
We went at 18 weeks and it was a good experience. The best part is that we have a DVD of our little girl moving around. Otherwise, the experience I had at my anatomy scan was also very positive and I probably didn't need to do the elective u/s. Just a warning... they will try to sell you on coming back for a 3D/4D, as well as cord blood banking, so be prepared for that.
