I'm about to throw my dypes on the drying rack for the first time. We live in S. FL so it is very humid. I'm anticipating needing to put them through the dryer once.
Should I dry them in the dryer once first?
Line dry them and see how long I can last?
Other tips/tricks/suggestions?
They will be in our screen porch, and will not get direct sunlight.
Thanks!

Okay. Now I'm worried about my NB stash. I posted a few days ago that I have about 30 diapers.... if she goes through 10 on monday, and then I wash each those 10 on tuesday, and then line dry on wednesday.... I will only have 10 ready to use diapers at any given time, right?
I can just throw them in the dryer, but we are trying to save money.
I see your concern. Here's what we do:
Wash in the evening after E's in bed. I make sure we have at least 4 backups for the next morning.
I put them on our drying rack in the basement before bed.
In the morning I check them and put away any that are dry.
Hang the ones that aren't dry outside.
It's different b/c my kid is 2 and only goes through 5 or 6 in a day. I would make sure you have 10 backups but the washing at night/overnight drying really helps. I'm with you on the drying in the dryer...not only does it cost more it can potentially lessen the life of your diapers.
GL!
