Unplanned???

I'm new to the bump, and I love that there's so many boards on many topics about pregnancy and families. I see lots of  boards on the hard stuff in life: infertility, high risk, miscarriage, troubles ttc... but what about us who weren't ttc? Is there a board where we can talk about the challenges of a surprise pregnancy?

Yeah, I guess now I know why there isn't a board about it... cuz apparently its not ok to the rest of the other bumpies to be divorced/ not married to baby's father/ have an unplanned pregnancy. 

Cool.  

And here I thought I was gunna have a great place to talk about all the challenges that can come about when pregnant...

There are still boards where you can discuss the challanges as well as happy stories about being pregnant. There are the different trimester boards and the month of your due date boards. But I agree with the previous poster that if you feel strongly about it, other people might to, so suggest that add a board like that.

If you don't have a SO, why not you check out the SP board? People on the bump are from all over with different situations. You may find other people who are going through what you are.

I was on depo so I would join you on the unplanned board. Im over the moon now but it was quite a shock at first. I kind of resigned myself to waiting a few more years.

sounds like a great idea - if you'd like to talk, mine's also unplanned, and i'm not married, etc...

I know how you feel. My pregnancy as well was unplanned, my boyfriend now fiance were dating for 2 and a half years once we found out we were pregnant. And, it took an emotional toll on both of our families. Even now I am 16 weeks and my brother still wont talk to me and my fiance's parents are still not on board with the pregnancy.
