Today *could* have been my last day of work

I'm planning to start my leave only after having this baby, but, I realized today that we are off tomorrow and Monday for the holiday, and on Tuesday I'll be 37 weeks.  So there is a *shred* of possibility that I could have completed my last day of work before leave. 

That said, I still need to wash baby clothes, install car seat bases and do a LOT more to prepare for being gone from work for 3 months.  And I don't really want a 37 weeker - I am happy to keep this one cooking a while.  But 39 weeks would be nice, or 40, or 41 even, without an induction this time.  If only there was a crystal ball.

Not entirely VBAC related but it feels good to be getting close.  Ready to do this!

Wow, did you go early with your first?  For me, when I was at 37 weeks, I still had a month left in both of my pregnancies.  I hope that is not the case for you!

Definitely not!  I had an induction for non-medical reasons at 41 weeks (OB wanted baby out and thought he was "big"...he was 6lbs15oz).  Induction ---> c-section for ftp, or failure to wait as another OB since told me.

I really highly doubt that I will have this baby before Oct 1 (EDD is Sept 27), but it just feels good to be in the home stretch because I am starting to lose a little steam and am starting to be a little less comfortable.

I hear ya!  I remember those last few weeks as being long.  I hope this baby cooperates for you!  And I can't believe they induced for "big baby" for you last time.  So insane.  I am sure they won't pull that card on you again this time.  Hoping to hear your birth story soon!
