Or thats the estimate at least. I'm going to lose my mind.

I haven't slept, i haven't taken a hot shower (but at least I have city water), i'm sick of doing absolutely nothing every.single.night. Most of our close family/friends also do not have power. At least we can hang out with the neighbors every night and let the kids play and get tired out.

Luckily the kids think its fun to fill the kiddie pool in the backyard with bubble bath and play. So at least I can wash their hair and get them semi-clean without giving them cold baths.

I'm so sorry. That blows.  We lost power this summer for only a few hours and I almost lost my mind. good luck to you!

Nothing like a little shared misery to bring neighbours together.

Perhaps the power will come on early.  You never know.

I would never make it that long. The biggest benefit of living next to a fire station is that they are one of the first places to have power restored. I was pretty thankful for our location after this weekend!

The firehouse is less than a mile away. That's not helping us very much. They do have generators though, and its volunteer so that might be part of it.

Ours is literally in the back yard. We are on their line. The rest of our neighborhood is not, so often we have power when no one else does.

I'm jealous. The worst part is? We have undergound utilities and we have no power. The main road where the power comes in above ground HAS power. So its not even like you can blame a tree down or anything. Something must have busted underground or something.
