Do you consider Spencer unisex?

If we have a boy, Spencer is on our short list but I've had several people tell me that's a unisex name. I always thought of it strictly as a boys name. What do you think is this another boys named turned unisex?

Nope, Spencer is a boys name as far as I'm concerned. The only time I ever heard it on a girl (Spencer Grammer, from Greek), I definitely gave it the side eye.

I think Spencer could used for a boy or girl. I mean, its NMS so I'd never use it, and it probably never would have gotten popularized if it weren't for Sara Shephard, but I still think its just one of those that could do well on either gender.

It is a boy's name.....and if a girl does get named this every once in a while, she will forever have people assuming she is a boy.

Spencer is 100% a boy's name.

It is a boy's name only. Just because some random parent's decided to use a boy's name for their daughter, does not make it unisex. It just means that their daughter has a boy's name.
