I was considering it, but I really don't know what I would want to listen to. I don't really like soothing music; it kind of annoys me--not as much as pop, mind you, but still a little bit. But I don't think that Godsmack or Ozzy or Metallica are really appropriate for the delivery room.
I was considering putting together a few playlists (one with my angry rape your mother white boy music--sorry, that's a little graphic. Another with hippy stoner music--greatful dead, pink floyd, etc, one with my favorite female artists that I love to sing along with, and one with a lot of Jack Johnson) this way I can change it based on my mood.

I'm the same way. I just don't know what I'll be in the mood for at the time, so may need to bring some options.
I have one for each child, mostly music that I've been listening to during the pregnancy. I love going back and listening to DD's playlist and reminiscing.
Dylan Sophia 06.04.09 - Elijah Alexander 04.25.10 - 04.25.10 - Sullivan Thomas 09.06.11 - Calvin Douglas 08.06.13 - Baby GIRL Due 07.01.15!
I'll probably bring my ipod set to shuffle. I can't be in a room without the tv or music on. I get really nervous and antsy for some reason.
This. I need some kind of noise, and something to take my mind off what's going on. I'm loading my iPod with a ton of music and movies, and then I can decide there what I'm in the mood for.
