So I was so excited about my monthly appt because it went well and everything sounds good and my OB gave me the order to get my u/s! My birthday is on my 20 week mark and was hoping it would be a great birthday present for me and that I would find out the sex in the next 2 weeks.  Well....the stupid hospital that I go to is backed up and the earliest appt is in a month! So I will be 22 weeks by then and it's the same day of my darn next monthly appt.  I'm super bummed that I have to wait another month because I'm so anxious to know! And I wanna see my LO again...*sigh*

I could be wrong, but 22 weeks sounds late for an anatomy scan... I assume that's what you're having?

Yes it's for the a/s but that's the earliest that they could get me in.  That's my frustration with this hospital because my doc wanted me to get it between weeks 18-20, but they are so booked.  I don't think there's much I can do about it.

Does the hospital have any other lab offices nearby?  I don't go to the hospital to get my ultrasounds done because their hours suck and I'd have to take half a day off work.  Instead, I go to one of the labs they're affiliated with that's on the other side of town but has way better hours.

I didn't know it existed until I told my doctor about the work dilemma, and she suggested it.
