Hahahahaha. You really think I've thought about that? I wonder if retirement will actually ever be in my future.

I'd love to be one of those couples on House Hunters International that is searching out a wonderful home in a foreign land for vacation, retirement, etc. But I have no idea where exactly I'd want to go.

I'm a SAHM mom so I don't really get to retire, but we figure dh will be retiring in about six years (7 to 8) if he's lucky...very lucky.  At that time, we will likely continue what we are doing now...school year in MN, summer in beautiful British Columbia.  Many, many years from now when the kiddos are all grown up and out of the house, we would like to retire to a lake home here in BC.

I'm hoping to cash out in 10-15 years and buy a vineyard in Sonoma.

Summer in the carolinas, winters in Aspen. Maybe throw in a timeshare in wine country. Save the fun international stuff for trips- I want to stay state side to see family regularly.

We just talked about how fun it would be to live in a high rise in downtown Chicago. Though I'd like it more if we had a fun winter place too, definitely somewhere warm.

I really don't see us leaving PA.  But a nice vacation home somewhere would be nice, I just don't know where.  :)
