Re: How often

  • Hahaha, clean toys?

In all honesty, I dont really clean them on a regular basis unless someone gets sick in which case I will wipe everything down with a wipe or some kind of all purpose cleaner. Other than that, its on an as needed basis. When Lilly was a baby, I would clean everything regularly but that kind of went out the window, lol.

  • I've never cleaned a toy unless they've been spit up on or got food on.  Or, if we have friends over and they put it in their mouths, then they go in the dishwasher.

  • I clean toys with Bleach when I buy them at a garage sale....other than that only when they get spit up on.  Teething rings go in the dishwasher about once every other week, unless they end up in another child's mouth which rarely happens.  (only when my nephew comes over and wants to "be like baby D"

    Pretty much this.

  • When Jackson was an infant and had approximately 12 toys, I cleaned them weekly. LOL

Now?  Never, unless they are visibly dirty and even that takes me awhile to get around to.

  • Usually I clean them well when DD gets over being sick. I let the little pieces soak in a bucket of water with dishsoap and a drop of bleach. I use dishsoap and a rag to clean bigger pieces about once a week or so.
