When did you sign up for Child birth/parenting classes?

I just had a "holy crap" moment when I realized that this baby is coming in 13 weeks and I haven't signed up for any birthing or parenting classes!! 

 When did you take yours??

I took mine 3 months before.  But, I had an option of either 3 months before, or a month before, and I opted for earlier.  One because I didn't want to go into labor early and feel unprepared, and two because I felt like I'd be more comfortable sitting in a class at 5 months vs. 8 months.

yeah, you need to sign up NOW.   they fill up, so hopefully you can get in.  Mine finished about 7 or 8 weeks before my due date.

Yes, definitely sign up right away!  I signed up at 18 wks and some classes were already full.

BTW, you don't have to take classes at the hospital you're delivering at, so check out all of the hospitals for class offerings.  That way you'll have a few more options.

I just signed up!  Luckily there were some classes still open at swedish

We're taking classes now at Swedish in Ballard.  I think I was 22 weeks when we started and I'll be 30 weeks when we finish.

I'm taking mine right now with Overlake.  I started when I was at 23 weeks and will be done at 30 weeks.  My class is full and it looks like a lot of classes get filled up pretty quick.  One gal in the class already had her baby early at 30 weeks, so it's probably best to take it as soon as you can.

We did a weekend one when I was about 32 weeks.  We did this one: www.pattiramos.com.  It was an amazing, amazing experience.
