So what's worse...

than not having power for more than 80 hours? 

Having to drop your child off with your MIL who also hasn't had power for more than 80 hours and she has no way of warming bottles or keeping them cold (except for the cooler with ice I gave her).  Wonderful...I feel like the worst mother ever today and I just want to be home with my baby.

    I'm sorry - being without power is awful!  Try not to feel like a bad mama...you're doing what you need to do for your family.  You'll see him again soon.

    does she have a grill? She could heat water in a pot on the grill & warm the bottles that way. I hope you guys get your power back soon! That really sucks.

    yeah that sucks. Maybe MIL can take a walk somewhere where they might have a way to heat up the bottle for her? (e.g. a coffee shop can give her free hot water)
