Contracting!!

Shhhh....it's TOP secret on FB, but after losing my MP and having some bloody show most of the day, I started contracting around 8pm. Realllllly far apart - like 20min. Hoping it is the real deal and maybe there is a due date baby in my future tomorrow. Time will tell. I will take all the labor dust I can get in the mean time!

You can do this mama!  Just remember, each contraction is doing something to your cervix or the baby's position!  And you just have to get through <this> contraction and then you can rest.  Don't think about the next contraction.

Oh- and picture your cervix opening like a flower.  It can't hurt :-)

Thanks, girls! Things seem to be moving in the right direction. Averaging 7min apart now, but intensity is still very low. Call into my MW and doula and my mom. Mom is on her way so she is here and not rushing in the middle of the night. The plan is for Sean & I to head up to bed and try to rest a little before things really get going. I am going to put on my hypnobirthing tracks and hope to doze a bit! EEEK!
