Is anyone watching the series finale episodes?  What a train wreck!!  I've been watching this family since the first specials, but been wanting to stop for 2 seasons now.  DH wanted to keep watching b/c of their kids, so we've been watching.  This week's was hard to watch and it looks like it's going to get worse.  I'm ready to be done with Kate, even though we'll miss seeing the kids.

Has anyone else stuck with them this long?

I just stopped this year, it got to be too annoying seeing her go everywhere in high heels and her low cut tops.  I'll miss  seeing Aiden especially...

Yeah, I miss the days when she wore lounge pants and flip-flops and didn't care about fashion (just like me, these days!).  I'll miss Hannah and the little girls, esp.

Maybe I should clarify, I don't mind her getting more "fashion sense" or becoming more trendy but going on this long trips and long days exploring a zoo on vacation in 3 inch heels was really grating on me.

The last few seasons, since Jon left the show, have been like the Traveling Kate + 8 show.  I hope they are paying for some of these trips.  The finale episodes are from an RV trip around the US, where Kate breaks down big time and (it looks like) is about to lose her best friend and the kids' best babysitter.

I haven't watched it since the divorce.  I think they changed the name of the show, and my DVR didn't pick up on it.  I've been too lazy to change it.

I watched from the beginning but stopped when all of the divorce stuff went down. Then, I DVR'd these last few episodes. It's sad to see the chaos these kids are forced to deal with. At least when they were little it was (seemingly) happy chaos.

I used to really love that show but I can't handle watching it anymore. It's painful to watch Kate. I can't stand how she acts. I love seeing the kids but I think enough is enough. Those poor kids will pay for this tv show for the rest of their lives. Can you imagine growing up and watching your mom act like that on TV? They are going to all need therapy.

Exactly - I used to love her and now I can't stand her. but I will watch the finale.
