first day of CDing, need advice!!! ETA pics in bio!

I built my stash of Kawaii one-size dipes with the plan to use sposies until DD could wear the cloth. She is now 9.5 lbs, so by all accounts, they should fit, but they still seem huge!! Only one of the styles seems loose around the leg, but just the overall size is too big, should I wait a little longer? My hubby joked that these are special "nipples to knees" cloth diapers!!

I know they are supposed to fit at 8 lbs, so am I the only one who this didn't seem to work for? We don't mind using sposies a little longer, but if I am just not understanding, please let me know!!

I went back and put some pics on my bio page. Thanks for the advice!

Are they snapped down to the smallest setting? Can you PIP? A lot of diapers start fitting better once babies are 10lbs, and it will look much bulkier than the 'sposies you've been using, regardless.

They'll look larger than sposies, but they shouldn't be that big.  Did you get them snapped down?

Mine didn't fit well until 10 or 11 lb, and they were pretty bulky at that point. They weren't quite that bad, though! Agreed that a pic would help troubleshoot.

We have a couple of kawaiis that we are using and I do find they are a little bulkier than our BG 4.0s. Our DD was exactly this weight when we started and have had no problems at all. And as PP have said, they are bulkier than spoises.

My baby is 13.5lbs and they are still big on her.  At least I know they will last long into the toddler years

I looked at your photos, and yes, that's just how a one-size will fit on a tiny baby. If it's not leaking, you can use it. Baby doesn't care. If it isn't something you like, you can buy some size smalls - by the time she outgrows those, the OS will fit much nicer.
