I keep a (glass) bowl of it in my shower. The first day, I add warm water and swirl. After that I just stir it with my finger each time. This has the option of being on any given day: my shampoo, face scrub, body scrub, shower cleaner, etc. (We also have a bottle of ACV on the shelf in the shower.)
I've been wanting to try a soft-scrub that I saw recently with bronners and baking soda to switch it up a bit. The other thing I saw recently The Eco Friendly Family blog was strawberries and baking soda for teeth whitener.

I use it as a face exfoliator at times. I'm sure it's probably a bit harsh on it, as I also use it to get the caked on grease off of my tea kettle, but I just add a bit to my face soap and gently massage. Works well. In fact, my feet need some help big time - maybe I'll try it on them.... lord knows the 'feet exfoliator' soaps never work.
I also keep a little container in the tub and use it to clean the bathroom, have used it to 'no poo' before and sometimes (when I remember) to help unclog or clean the drains w/ vinegar.

I keep a baggie right outside my shower for face exfoliator. I pour some in my hand, add my face wash, and go! When I got a prenatal facial a couple months ago the lady told me to try it because it's not too harsh (like the apricot scrubs) and is about the same consistency as a microdermabrasion.

I use it as shampoo, with olive oil as a facial scrub, on the carpets before I vacuum, and as a cleaner (see my oven post) when I need some abrasiveness.
we buy A LOT of baking soda and vinegar at our wholesale club each year. haha.
Besides the usual cleaning uses, I use it as a scalp scrub for myself and toothpaste for my little ones.
I've been contemplating this, but am hesitating because I'd read somewhere that it can be really harsh on your teeth. Do you feel like its been too harsh? Do you add anything to it?

do you just dip a wet toothbrush in it as toothpaste?
Yes. My kids are young and won't spit very well (were just starting to use natural toothpastes with my son who turned 4 Monday). We dip the toothbrush and then scrub the teeth. I've actually read that baking soda is much less abrasive than the scrubbers in commercial toothpaste and that it breaks down food particles better. My mouth actually feels much cleaner when I use the baking soda too.
Baking soda for toothpaste - yes I feel like it's a bit too abrasive although I feel like it's still better then commercial toothpaste. ( I use it in a mixture of coconut oil, baking soda, stevia -for taste, and peppermint essential oil) However, for my kids I made a toothpaste out of coconut oil and xylitol and I will switch to that when I am out of my baking soda toothpaste I think.

I use baking soda to:
no 'poo
brush my teeth (I use a recipe and it's not solely baking soda)
a weird use is as a UTI cure! I had one a few months ago and found out that baking soda could be use. I tried it and it work! No ER trip for me!!

Oooh! I really don't like our (method?) stainless steel cleaner. Way too funny of a smell going on. I'm going to look this up!
