I hate you, Target!

UGH! I remember reading about target registries messing up because they were moving to a new site/server or whatever...

I went to log into mine today and it told me to change my password, no big deal. After I did that, it went to go create a whole new registry... You have got to be freakin kidding me! I had over 100 items on that thing and spent an hour in the store with the scan-y thing.

This makes me want to cry and scream all at the same time.

I hate you, Target.

Thanks - I just sent them one. Their website is really confusing!

  • Target is awful with their registries.  My sister went yesterday to return an unopened breast pump from her registry because she got a more expensive one for free from her insurance.  First they told her that her registry was already removed from their website.  She wasn't even due until 9/2 and it's supposed to stay online for 4 weeks after your due date.  Then they found her registry but told her there was no pump on it, just the accessories.  She asked why she would register for accessories there and the pump elsewhere, and they said "I don't know, but we can't give you a credit".  So she goes over the computers they have for customers to print registries, prints hers out, circles the pump, and says "Here!  Now can I have my credit?" and they said no because they didn't see it on their screen, and asked her if she would like to go home, try to figure out where the pump came from, and then go return it at the appropriate place.  She asked for a manager who finally worked it out, but this whole exchange took AN HOUR.  I was in the car this whole time with the baby, who is only 9 days old.  Luckily I was there to feed him and take care of him, but if she had been alone with him and trying to deal with this crazy employee she would have ended up crying in the middle of the store.  I just can't believe how difficult they were even after she printed them the registry and showed them that they were wrong!
