Are my diapers ruined?

My cleaning lady saw my diapers in the wash and figured they were clean.  She put them in the dryer.  They were not clean, they had just been rinsed once.  She put everything in...covers and inserts, and fitteds.  I want to cry right now, thinking of the poo and pee being baked in in the dryer (and to boot, she dried on medium/high).  Are they ruined?  I am guessing the staining, at the very least, is now baked in for eternity.

Someone please make me feel better...

All is not lost!

Assuming your first rinse was a cold rinse, put on a large hot wash, wait till the tub fills, then let them soak for a half hour or so. Finish the wash with soap, do your obligatory rinses, and pull them out and inspect each one.

If you see staining, you can set them outside in the sun to sun bleach. You might have to do this several times to get the stain out (sunning), but that's the best way if they are in fact set in.

DH did this same thing to our diapers last week and they are fine.  I just washed them like normal and sunned them to remove the stains.  Worked like a charm.

My sister did this! I was livid. I just started over and they were fine! don't worry. And sunning HELPS! I plan on doing it this weekend. Some do it every time they dry, but I'm lazy and only do it every few months lol. Let us know the outcome for you!

Ah, you guys are amazing!  I feel much better now

I went down to the laundry room and cursed really loud to myself :P  I know it wasn't her fault, but I needed to vent.
