Biting problem!!! Help!!

So one triplet has taken to biting the others!! He is starting to do it more and more..I've tried saying no and giving him a light tap on his lips but he just giggles...he bit his bro 2x and even broke the skin! Please any suggestions???

Gah, DS1 bites too. Fortunately, its a major tired sign. So long as we stay ahead of naps, that helps a ton. He's also testing limits by biting and watching what I do. Like you, we go NO BITE with a finger on his lips. Good luck to us both!

My one DD bit the other DD last week so hard on her cheek last week that I cried for my poor sweet baby girl. It left a horrible bite looking double bruise! My girls are 20 months old and this is a newer behavior. I wish I knew how to stop it. I tell her no but she does it anyway and thinks it's funny.

We've been having the same problem. At their 18 month appt, our pedi said to firmly say "no bite/biting" to offender and turn your back and ignore them while consoling/hugging the other. HTH

DD also bites quite a bit when she's tired. She hasn't tried to bite DS yet; I'm usually her target. She also bit DH so hard the other day that it bled. Like Haven, we try to get her to bed before she's too tired and the biting begins.
