Suddenly only 30 min naps?

Hi all - visiting from the 0-3 month board for advice. For the past 2 days DS all of a sudden will not nap for more than 30 mins. Before that he was consistently taking one 4 hour nap in the AM and one or two 30 min naps in the PM.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please tell me it is a phase! I want my 4 hour nap back!!

Might be his 3 month growth spurt coming a little early maybe?

My daughter, who is now 11.5 wks, started doing that a couple of weeks ago.  I had just started to get her on a nap schedule and her naps were only lasting 30-45 minutes.  She still takes 30 min naps, but she'll also take longer (1.5-2.5 hr) naps, too.  Have you changed her nap schedule recently?  It might just be that she's getting older and doesn't need to sleep as much at one time.  I bet it will swing back around again, tho u may never get the 4 hour nap back!  GL!

My LO has never taken a 4 hour nap. When she was younger, she would be up for 1.5 to 2 hours and then nap for 45 min to 1 hour. At 5 months, she now takes a 1 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.

4 hour nap! Holy crap, your house must must have been clean, lol. At 3 months, I was getting a 45 minute nap every hour or so. We are now at 1.5/2 hr naps in the AM and PM. (Although we just got back from a trip and his sched is effed and he's gone back to 45 minute spurts.)
