places to have baby shower in raleigh/cary area
I am trying to help my mom find a place to hold a large co-ed shower in November 2011. We want to provide our own food just need a place to do it. We will be having people coming from Harnett, Wake, Johnston, Chatham and Lee counties so I need something central and easy to get to. Thanks in advance for any ideas that you have.

This place is really nice--The Royal. We looked at it as a possible wedding reception location. It's in an old bread bakery/factory that was restored into this space, and shops, restaurants, etc. It's across from Meredith College in Raleigh. Depends on how swanky you want to go for a baby shower! :-)
Otherwise, maybe check out some restaurants that might have banquet rooms (Maggiano's at Southpoint comes to mind), or community centers, etc. Looks like Bond Park in Cary rents out it's community center's rooms, and they come with kitchenettes, which could be nice...
