Why is Suri never wearing tights with her dresses?

Usually this stuff doesn't bug me but Tom and Katie are always wearing sweaters and coats but the baby is always in a short sleeve dress and no tights.  They are in New York its cold outside.

My best guess:

Tom: honey, what do you want to wear today?  Daddy is spineless and won't decide for you because I fear that if you can't make decisions for yourself, or if I impose my decisions on you, you will grow up all crazy and stuff....unlike me..I'm sane...jumping on Oprah's couch...totally sane...

Suri: that one.

Tom:  Ok...great, you will look fabulous in that dress...how about some tights with it...its pretty cold outside.

Suri: no.

Tom:  ok...sorry...if you don't want tights, that is fine.  You can wear that dress.....without tights...

Brooke is always dressed much cooler than we are. 

(Actually, Brooke and I - Patrick and Ethan are always freezing, me and Brooke are always hot.)

probably the same reason why Miles wouldn't wear a coat today.. so I let him freeze his ass off at the park because I was so tired of fighting him.

Sometimes it is to exhausting to keep that fight up until you win.  It's cold where I am.  My dd has never and will never worn a winter hat, and often wears no socks.
