Bug bite what to do?

Hi all,

 

  DD has what appears to be a bug bite on her thigh, it seems to be pretty red, not certain that it is bothering her although she has been pretty crabby today (don't really think it's related). Is there something I can or should put on it, or should I just keep an eye on it? She is 4.5  months old.

I generally don't do anything.  I'm not sure if you can use benadryl cream on a 4.5 month old.  When we were little my mom used clear nailpolish on them which would stop the itching (as long as it wasn't scratched open or anything), but again, not something I think I'd use that young.
