Weight-In

Hello again ladies,

So DH and I have been walking 2-4 miles a day for the past two weeks. Yesterday I weighted myself and... *drum role)* ... I lost 4 pounds! I'm hoping to lose 10 pounds by October 1st.

My knee is still banged up, so I won't be able to run until it feels better. When I run, the weight pours off me. My goal is to lose 20 pounds by the New Year.

How much have you lost or gained (if you are trying to gain weight)?

  • Congrats! I can't wait till after I have my baby so I can challenge myself to get back in pre-pregnancy shape. And because I'm currently still pregnant, I've gained 16lbs so far haha. Hope your knee gets better soon!

  • i have currently lost 10 pounds in this month alone, i have 35 more pounds to lose. i am hoping to get to lose this before my sons first birthday.

  • I'm up 4 pounds, but I too loved the challenge of losing post-baby and met it head on... I actually am sort of embracing this time to not worry about exercise/weight gain so much and just enjoy a bowl of ice cream when I want one. :)  Although I am very petite, it still seems nice not to think about it so much!

  • Ive lost 11 lbs this month. I got 31 to go. Everybody keep saying not to lose any more weight, cause I was pretty thin before getting pregnant, but I gained 60 pounds, so I want to go to my pre pregnancy weight anyway. I want to be able to wear all my clothes again!! My goal is to lose another 10 pounds next month. Will see, working out with a cranky 7 week old is hard.

  • I'm in my 38th week of pregnancy & I have gained 33 lbs so far! I plan to lose it all by Christmas. I will be nursing & working out/cycling. Is my goal realistic?

    It's hard to say if it will happen or not, but I can tell you that with DD I gained about 40-45 lbs and lost it all by 10 weeks pp via breastfeeding and working out (ran 4 miles a day or did a DVD).

  • So far down about 40 pounds just from water weight and breastfeeding. I haven't started working out yet because my C-section scar is still a little tender. But I have about 20 more pounds to go until my goal weight.

  • I have lost a total of 25 lbs, DS is 5 1/2 weeks old.  I have another 30 lbs to lose to get back to were I was. I work out at least 4x a week and watching my calorie intake, but being careful cause I am Bfing.  Month of August I lost about 10 lbs, I am hoping to lost another 10 or more this month. Off to the gym I go...
