I posted a few days go that my twin sister got a faint BFP on an FRER well, the next morning the line looked a little bit darker, def not a squinter line. That same evening she took another test and it was slightly lighter, but still there. Today her tests are still positive, but not getting darker. She sent me a pic and I can def see the line, but its not dark.
I feel really bad for her, but her and I are both thinking maybe its a chemical PG. I know some out there say a line is a line, but Im not sure I always believe that. In my experience, the lines do get darker as the days go on and the HCG level increases. This was their first month trying and Ive never concieved naturally so i dont know if its any different. She is around 13-15 dpo today and from my experience, I had pretty significant BFP's on FRER's at this point. What do you think?
I just hope its not ectopic or anything....She said she will call the doc if they dont get darker in the next day or so.

I agree with you...she is being realistic about it and I hate to be a debbie downer, but I also think the outlook does not look good....most of us here have experience POAS. I was a freak about it. I dont know if she is lucky that im so 'knowledgable' or if its making her more stressed out!!

I POAS like it was my job after my FET until I was 7 wks or so.
I did notice on some of them that the line would show up faster rather than get darker. And sometimes the line from the morning would be darker than the one from the evening.

The darkness of the line doesn't necessarily have to do with how pregnant you are. The amount of dye can vary from test to test.
If she wants something quantitative, have her get a blood test so she can stop streesing every time she POAS.
