Yeast infection question...

OK so this is my second YI evah.

I took 10 days of 500mg 3x a per day for strep at the begining of the month. I came down with a YI about 2 weeks after starting the medication. I self treated with a one day OTC pack and I was good- until this morning. Gah, it's back like a bad dream.

Do I retreat OTC or call for a script? I just don't want to have to go in...

Yes, they come back.  I haven't had one since college :::knock on wood:::

I had in college from you know, doing it in a hot tub.

 

Oh sweet bah-jeezus. Remember that w/e away Sand I took just before I got sick? That w/e involved a hot tub. feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck.

But that was over a month ago.

Yes. Many times. When you take antibiotics, are run down etc. It's a PITA

Get your Diflucan and cut your sugar intake right back and pray it will be over in a couple of days.

I posted once a long time ago asking why a person would chose the 7 day over a 1 day treatment and several people responded along the lines that the 1 day doesn't do the trick for them ever.

I'd either call the doc and get something stronger...

or

DO a 7 day treatment.

And cut out the sugar and bread for a while....
