My IVF Journey
I have a friend named Johnna and another named Michayla (mick-ay-lah)
Good God, that spelling is atrocious. I love the name Michaela when spelled that way as a variation of Michael and not the trendy abomination "Mikayla" (and variants). I like Gianna. Joanna is NMS, but it's okay.
Michaelyn (pronounced Michael lynn). My parent's neighbors have a daughter with this name.
Micah
Mischa/Misha
Jonna
Jenna
Jean
Micah is male and is not related to the name Michael. It's Hebrew.
SEWF:
Shawna or Shauna is the feminine version of Shawn or Sean, which is the Irish version of John.
I only know that because my name is Shauna.
That was almost my name, too.
My mom went to school with a girl named Jonatha. I wouldn't recommend it.
I do like Michaela, spelled the original way, quite a bit. But since there are so many unique spellings (Mikayla, McKayla, Machayla, who knows) she might have other people in her class with other versions and her name might be misspelled a lot. But decide if that's important to you.
Re: What are some girl versions of John and Michael?
Gianna
Gianna (traditionally pronounced John-ah though most people don't follow that rule and pronounce it Gee-ah-nah)
Joan
Johannah
Michaela
Michaelina (I've known one. I don't like it, but I've known one)
Michelle
I'll add...

I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
