My H is almost WORSE.... he makes excuses for me 'getting fat' as "It's okay, hon, you're pregnant. It doesn't matter how you look anymore. " And no; I haven't gained any weight yet. Just bloat, yayyyy.

I would have definitely done something more on this level. DH did tell me while I was pregnant with DD that I should get some high top tennis shoes to help support all the extra weight my ankles had on them. I gave him "the look" and then busted out laughing at the metal picture of me, pregnant, wearing big 80's style high tops:).

I'm not preg but my H is exactly like this, making excuses and I think he likes the extra weight.  He loved when I was preg, squishy and had a bigger @ss.   He tells me this all the time.  Lucky for him I'm still a little squishy lol.
