Nighttime diaper blowouts!

My 3 mo DD blows out of her dipe EVERY NIGHT!  Sometimes TWICE!  She goes down at 9pm, wakes at 4am and 8am.  Alteast ONE Of those times she poops out of her dipe onto her clothes and sheets!  She just moved up to a size 2 diaper, got her a size 3 for nights and still blew out in morning!  Any advice? Sick of changing and washing sheets daily!!!

Ugh, sorry Mama. Wish I had the answer because ever since my LO learned to roll onto his tummy, he pees out the diaper every.single night. I tried going up a size, down a size, pointing him down...nothing is working and the laundry is adding up!!

Is she blowing out the legs or up the back?  What type of diaper are you using?  I had the problem with DD, she would blow up the back in her huggies, baby dry, up & up and luvs.  Pampers swaddlers and cruisers finally holds it in for her.

Only up the back!  She really grunts and pushes her poops.  NOt sure she really needs to with such gusto, she has soft, runny stools.  BF poos.  I am an avid Pampers Swaddler buyer. I am going to see if they have a nighttime one.

I know she's not sick, but when my DD had a stomach virus, we used a size 2 diaper with a size 3 over it, and at night we used a swim diaper over one regular diaper.  Maybe that will help?

we used swaddlers until J started to blow them out like crazy. when we switched to baby dry that virtually stopped.

I've been told to expect this to continue until we get to solid foods. 

As for which diapers, work.... good luck with that! We did have some luck with Huggies, but not enough to brag.

I put a blanket, burp cloth, diaper, underpad,... anything really, under LO. My new trick is to feel him stir (we co-sleep) and get a hand under his behind before the explosion.

DS has been going thru a really wet stage and I put an Ultimate Crib sheet in his crib - I have two and they're much easier to change than sheets.
