Timing advice please

Hi all!  As you may have read from my OB post, my new doctor suggested abstaining until I get my +OPK and then BD that day and 12 hours later.  So today I got the :) on my digital test.. yay!  Since dh is at work nothing is going to happen til tonight.. If you were me would you think that BD'g tonight and then in the morning would be close enough to OB's instructions even though it won't be EXACTLY 12 hours later?  Would you KEEP BD'g for a couple days?  I am SO glad it is Friday so this can all work.  My work hours have been really early lately there is no way we would have been able to do the 12 hours later part.  THIS timing could be PERFECT!  Hoping and praying for all systems to cooperate!  :)

    the day of opk and day after will be good. just get as close to 12 hours as possible. good luck.

    Yes, I think that is plenty close enough.  I would probably go for a third day in a row, just in case your ovulation is delayed for whatever reason.  Good luck!

    Thanks all!  I think I will make it a whole weekend event.  :)  Dh is acting like I am asking WAY too much of him.. ha ha..like I believe THAT!  :)

    just do it ... and often!

    this isn't an exact science ... the goal is to get some of that spunk in the right place as close to the right time as you can.  and remember, sperm can live up to 72 hours in the vag.  so just do it ... and often. 

    oh, good luck ... and don't get a uti : P

    Thanks again all!  I just checked my calendar and now I am worried that we abstained for TOO long.  We had no action the week before af..just because life was busy and then none the week OF af.. and then none since my OB said to abstain.. So it's been 20 days!  I hope his swimmers are still good ones.. sigh.
