1) Pick your Pedi when your pregnant. Ask for a recommendation list from your OB/GYN or ask on here. Once you are pregnant its a good idea to go in and meet with the pedi before hand. Ask any questions you have and see if you like him/her and their office.
2) If you are taking about a pediatric dentist that is usually around 2-3 years old which I am in the process of doing now. I would ask other mom friends, on here and even your pedi.

If you do not have a OB/GYN yet I highly recommend Dr. Alison Elmquist. I picked her because she delivers at Medical City Dallas which has a "Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and a congenital heart surgery unit." You never know if you will need that for your new arrival.
