Infertility Veterans

so many familiar names... (first visit in 8 months)

I admit I've been away since the first of the year.

Back story: I was on the IF boards forever, had a very sad DE loss last year (due to neural tube defect) and then had my lining get all screwed up (finding this out after our second DE cycle and FET failed). Got a second opinion in early 2011 and was told to hire a surrogate. This was all in my siggy, which somehow went haywire and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Fast forward 8 months and we're very close to being in the adoption pool for a local agency. I pop into the adoption board occasionally but never had the heart to visit any other boards...til I saw this one.

I've been cruising posts from familiar names and I see so many losses and BFNs. I'm so sorry. Thank god for this new board though--don't know how long it's been here, but I sure could've used it late last year.

Hugs to all the vets.

  • Hi hun! I love that this board for everyone on the "IF" side of things. We're a tad slow right now, posting wise. Hopefully it will pick back up soon. It's good to hear from you. I wish you nothing but the best of luck with the adoption process.

As for the siggy - they reformatted everything a while back and all of our siggies when haywire, lol. I think you will just have to reformat. I forget what the main issue was for everyone. It was funny because super old siggies appeared. I'm tlaking like 2 yrs olf siggies. So random.

Currently pg with our 1st after 6.5 yrs of IF (thank you IVF)
