So a few of you already know my story of last night and no sleep and Hayley not eating till I got her home from daycare. Well she was super fussy throwing herself backwards and crying. I assumed it was her reflux andgave her Zantac. That was a no go. I fnally got her calmed down and asleep. Fast forward 4 hours-dumb H decides she needs her diaper changed while sleeping and now she's up at 1030 and he's off to work. GRRR. So I get her a bottle and as soon as she goes to suck on it she cries. BINGO it hits me maybe it's teeth. She wouldn't let me feel inside so I gave her the binky and rocked her and she's out again...do you think she's not taking the bottle because of a tooth coming in?
Re: Teeth?
My husband would not live long enough to go to work. Never wake a sleeping baby!!!
Anyways, DD doesn't have teeth yet so I don't know from experience, but I've read that some LOs will lose their appetite when teething. Next time she's awake stick your finger in there and feel around. See if it feels swollen or if there might be a tooth breaking through.
No you are not wrong at all - it was just not one of the symptoms ds had - doctor asked me about it, said some babies do it and some dont. If he had been tugging on the ears it would have helped, I waited to see the dr becuase he was not doing it.
