So if y'all remember that great sale at Urban Decay I posted about last week? Yeah, just got an email saying they "goofed" and oversold some items so I don't get them. Umm..WTF, that is YOUR mistake. If you mess up, you still do right by your customer. Granted they are offering me a $20 credit and free shipping but what I attempted to buy was worth a lot more than that! I'm so annoyed. Today SUCKS!

Are you serious?!? I would still honor your order. Who cares if they oversold. That is their fault. Is it too late to ask for the prodcuts even though accepted the credit?

I don't know, I'm calling tomorrow. I'm not normally this..confrontational..but I'm in a horrible mood tonight. 

I mean, I bought $300 worth of stuff, at about $50, but you are only going to give me $20? Nice. 

The really weird thing, though, is that pretty much everything I bought is STILL on their website at the reduced sale price. 

WTF. You are telling your customers it was a "technical issue" but you are still doing it? I'm so confused.

I just got the same email!!!  And, they don't tell you what you are or are not getting.  Just your card will be credited back for the items not being recieved. 

 So frustrating!  I went online to check and my guess is it's the lipgloss!  Since some of the items I ordered are still listed on the website!

That is totally whack! Also, it is totally dishonest to still be advertising (and allowing one to order) products that no longer exist...I am sure they are going to have a ton of irate customers!

Well, they are crediting back the cost of the items they can't fulfill- so it's a net gain. So if 30$ of stuff can't be filled - they'd charge back 30$ to the credit card and you'd have that 30$ back plus a 20$ store credit.

I called this morning because my order from last Thursday hadn't shipped yet and they credited me the shipping fee for this order as well.

I guess I'm not too worked up. I'm looking forward to getting whatever happens to show up and I'll enjoy my credit/free shipping when it activates.

Technically, yes. However, I probably got 8 things during the sale for that $20 I'll get now as a "credit" and only one thing that I had on my order can actually be purchased for less than $20 at full price.
